From the Lintong plateaus just south of Lake Toba — a 75,000-year-old caldera in northern Sumatra. Rich volcanic soil, high altitude, and a wet climate: everything a coffee tree could ask for. The lot comes from smallholder farmers across the plateau, each working their own plot.
Stone fruit and dark chocolate over that deep, earthy Sumatran base, with a little clove spice and a soft, cookie-like sweetness. Heavy, warm, and comforting — a classic Sumatra, with a bit more going on.
